God of War: Chains of Olympus - God of War: Chains of OlympusLet’s download now ‘God of War: Chains of Olympus’!
Finally a PSP game as I want, dude I m totally getting that game i've been waiting for that game for a long time. You better thank the developers of this game Sony. Now i have a good enough reason to get a PSP. Which i will. ‘God of War: Chains of Olympus’ is a third person action adventurous game, developed especially for the Sony PlayStation Portable.
Hey! The game is really very interesting and decent. Yesterday, I downloaded ‘God of War: Chains of Olympus’, on my PSP, from this website. In God of War, Greek mythological world comes into light. Next, you take the role of Kratos and a story begins where you’ll unfold various plot twists and multiple endings will take you through traps, stunts and puzzles. You’ll be placed into a variety of environments where you have to challenge enemies, swing on ropes, swim across rivers, and slide down zip lines. Playing Kratos in God of War: Chains of Olympus, you’ve to pay off his debt to the gods doing what they ask you to do …. Really, a new world and new adventures are waiting for you in ‘God of War: Chains of Olympus’.
God of War: Chains of Olympus' story takes place before the first God of War game on the PlayStation 2, which is a little confusing because you find yourself trying to remember just what had and hadn't happened in Kratos' twisted life at the time of the first game. At this particular point in the God of War timeline, Kratos is a general whose sole purpose is to serve the gods of Olympus. During the course of Chains of Olympus, the gods' orders create a certain moral dilemma for Kratos, and he finds himself faced with the decision of whether or not to do the bidding of his gods or do what is best for him. The story doesn't play a prominent role here, but this is God of War, so all you really need to know is why Kratos is pissed off so you can go off and slaughter mythical creatures with reckless abandon.
I had very high expectations for the studio's second PS2-to-PSP transition, God of War: Chains of Olympus. While creating an offshoot title that stars a sidekick is one thing, it's a whole different ballgame to take the reigns of Kratos and attempt to follow up two of the PlayStation 2's absolute best (and fan favorite) titles. Somehow though, Ready at Dawn has done it again.
Of course, there are several extras available once you finish the game. You'll unlock concept art along with one bonus costume and video by finishing the game on the default difficulty. You can also go back and play through on the ultrahard god mode or try to complete the five tasks in the challenge of Hades, each of which quickly reveals the reason behind its name.

Chains of Olympus works as a prequel to the original God of War. Kratos has already been saved by Ares and is working out his seemingly never-ending payback by doing the bidding of Olympus. The game opens in Attica, where Kratos helps defend the city against the impeding Persian forces. If you've gotten your hands on the demo disc, you've already played the game's opening moments. If there are any flaws with God of War: Chains of Olympus, they surface simply because the game looks so good. Pure and simple, the PSP is being pushed hard, and because of this there is some screen tearing and frame rate stuttering when things on screen get very hectic or chaotic. It’s not often, but it shows up enough to be noticeable. The other element that some people might have trouble with is the puzzle design. Some of them are so maddeningly difficult to solve and some of the hints are so obscure and unhelpful that you’ll want to smash your own face on Kratos’ chain blades. Ultimately, a lot of the thinking challenges would have been better served with more distinct visual cues to help the player visualize a solution. Still, completing the puzzles gives a nice feeling of accomplishment when you’re able to see how they connect to other parts of the level.
God of War: Chains of Olympus - God of War: Chains of Olympus
It’s the best looking game on the PSP yet and playing it is a complete fun. The combat, level design, mythology- all are available in a slightly stripped down form. Its story takes place before the first God of War on PlayStation 2. If you’ve not played it yet, then, you must as it’s the best PSP games available till date.
